The Offering
Hacienda El Chapernal is a property of tropical dry forest located in Sardinal de Carillo, Guanacaste. It offers a vibrant and spectacular development oportunity. The site is comprised of 783 hectares of beautiful mountain land with stunning ocean, lush valley and mountain views.
The property is very close to the best beaches of the Costa Rican North Pacific and inside area of turist influence of the Papagayo Gulf. It’s only a 20 minute drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport and 25 minutes away from downtown Liberia.
With this environmental criterion, activities of recreation in agreement to the natural vocation of the area and of the Guanacate environment have developed, always with the vision of supporting the customs and Costa Rican traditions.

The Site
The 783 hectares of property has the potential to contribute to the preservation of the untouched beauty and delicate natural landscape. It has 18 classic villas that can hold approximately 40 people, ideal for a development crew. It also posses- ses some other buildings such as a restaurant,
a pool, 10 km of internal roads, among others. Public Road: There are 3 access points to public roads.
Water: This property is of great importance for the abundant water sources in it. It has 2 water wells and more than 10 water sources.
Power: A new substation consisting of 45 Mega Watts is located in Nuevo Colon providing aerial power supply to the Site. The substation was completed in June 2008
